According to this morning's Times the creators of LonelyGirl15 are to make a British spin off and are looking for a star to play to the British version of Brie.I have to honest, I'm not really sure that this will work. The reason the original was so successful is because when it started out it was not known it was fake. It grew in popularity and then became even more popular when the truth was revealed thanks to global comment from the news media. Can Internet phenomenon really be successfully replicated?
