Lib Dems sell t-shirts and bags to cut crime

Every political party is doing it these days it seems. Think of a policy area, get your slogan, then register the domain before you build you website to accompany it. For example, the Lib Dems have the "We can cut Crime!" website which highlights the Lib Dem councils that have cut crime (whilst ignoring the ones that haven't of course.. this is politics after all!).

Even better though on the "We Can Cut Crime!" site is the campaign merchandise store (which is a bit like Hazel Blears bizarre store). What better way to tackle crime than to sell t-shirts, mouse mats and bags saying you can cut crime huh?

What I wonder is, does the bag come with a warning about making sure you leave it on the hooks under the table when you go to a pub to.... errr.... cut crime?

To be fair though, at first glance their 5 steps to a safer Britain make a lot of sense. I wouldn't trust a Lib Dem to implement it though.
