Another Government website on its way

Given that Ed Miliband is now the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate CHange he's also going to need a new swanky website. This is going to be hosted at www.decc.gov.uk which was registered yesterday on behalf of the Government by British Telecom and I imagine the webbies of Whitehall are now working busily to produce something that meets the usual requirements.

The domain has only been registered until 3rd October 2010 though which is useful given there will have been election by then and the office may well be scrapped.

OK Ed, beneath is what you should do in Labour Bubble world. Let's see how many you can tick off.

1a: Talk about the Conservatives not fully backing nuclear.
1b: Make sure Labour doesn't fully back nuclear. (1b(i): Buy nuclear produced energy in emergency batches from France at vastly inflated prices)

Note to Spin Doctors: This is rank hypocrisy and therefore at the heart of what Labour want to do.

2a: Talk about the Conservatives not fully backing renewables.
2b: Make sure Labour doesn't fully back renewables. (This involves untrustworthy elements in society (i.e. people), better to fudge it and say that you listen to local opinion, you don't, it's great fudge though.)

Note to Spin Doctors: Again this is rank hypocrisy and therefore at the heart of what Labour want to do.

3: Do very little. Get EDF to make a nice announcement every now and again. Remember your main task is to have a go at Cameron and Goldsmith. Gordon hates these people because they are descended from people who really were prudent.
Never mind that you Ed benefited from inherited wealth. That psycho Gordon doesn't really mind because you have inherited trot also.

Note to Spin Doctors: Again this is rank hypocrisy and therefore at the heart of what Labour want to do.

How much is this one going to cost? £50,000, £100,000 or maybe more.

Interesting. I have www.decc.john-ward.org.uk which points to a simple site I host at my own domain.

Checking, just a minute ago, the address you quoted shows that at least mine is valid and working :-)

What's the carbon footprint of all these unread government propaganda sites, I wonder?

And some have the nerve to say this government isn't fiscally presudent!
