What doesn't appear in the news

The draft Renewable Transport Fuel Obligations Order 2007 from the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, Jim Fitzpatrick, which will "establish the Office of the Renewable Fuels Agency".

Quangotastic! Wonder how much the budget will be and what cronies will get jobs there?

Also they have revised their estimates of carbon savings down by 15%. lookslike somebody forgot that biodiesel is about 3% lighter and has about 14% less energy per kg than fossil fuel diesel, so the fuel that they plan to produce and use in the UK mwill displace less fossil fuel than they thought.

New offices, new computers, new letterhead.

Corporate logo? Compulsory! 'pity the frickers can't otherwise think like a corporate, ie EARN the money they spend, rather than just take it off the taxpayer.

Maybe they can collect the carbon and wrap in wood and then push it round a piece of paper.
