There was a time when these sort of things were called "executive toys" now they're called "geek toys", and I want one! I give you the Time Machine, a proper clock for proper people!
I know someone who has a clock that is similar to the one in the photo. Hes in his 90s so I will have to wait until he snuffs it before i get my mitts on it.
It made a horribly plasticcy noise at 1 o'clock in the morning (aand 1pm, of course, but I was generally not in earshot then.)
Better in concept than reality.
A bit like ker-plunk- the adverts said it made a "ker-plunk" noise as the marbles fell, but it was more of a ping- tinka tinka thud, just like cheap marbles falling onto cheap plastic.
