Parliamentary Question of the Day

It's good to start the day with something funny.
Mr. Heald: To ask the Prime Minister what assessment he has made of the impact of the Downing street e-petition initiative; and whether he plans to give a bonus to the staff members responsible for the project.
If anyone is wondering the answer was basically "sod off" but done in Parlimentary-ese.

I think they should have given a bonus to everyone that had to put up with the PM's reply to the petitioners.

Oliver Heald does have a great sense of humour. I remember him as a barrister at Cambridge Crown Court and he was always so helpful to the Press. If I had dozed off during a boring trial and wanted to check some facts, he was always happy to help out, always smiling too.
