According to Shaun Wooward, the leaders of the G20 came to the G20 in London to see what Gordon brown was doing to fight the recession. Errr... surely they came to the G20 in london because they were members of the G20 and the next meeting's location had been chosen as London?

I liked Adam Boulton on Sky, basically telling him to shut up about the G20. It wasn't a success for Gordon because he went into it wanting a massive stimulus package and didn't get it, he said.
Basically, Labour want us to congratulate Gordon for calling a (very expensive) meeting. Don't think so Shauny.
Adam Boulton's performance was brilliant - he's obviously sick to the back teeth of being bullshitted by complete idiots who have lost all pretence at credibility.
Brown went to the meeting trying to persuade all other world leaders to splurge to disguise the fact that that was what Brown had already done.
Agree with Mark M. Basically, we are being told to bow down and worship at Brown's feet because he managed to hold a meeting. A meeting which would have taken place anyway. Well Whoopee.
Woodward is just a Brown-nose Tory turncoat.
