Good morning Charlie!

If Flint goes as is rumoured and the leadership race kicks off, how long before we hear a sketch or commentary alluding not to Charlie's Angels, but Alan's Angels? If they do I bagsied!

Picture shamelessly lifted from ToryBear. Joke about Charlie's Angels was not..

Never mind Alan's Angels. More like the bad, the worse and the ugly.

The Witches of Eastwick?

Is it just me or does Chipmunk look like Heath Ledger's Joker?

I know it's juvenile (and a little bit sad) but I can't look at the picture without wondering, black beaver., red beaver., mouse beaver?

A nice pair of Charlies is one thing, but these three old tarts - at least two of whom should have the fraud squad a'knocking - are something else!

I see the three crones, but where's the cauldron?

Thunder and lightning. Enter three Witches
First Witch (Smith)
When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?

Second Witch (Blears)
When the hurlyburly's done,
When the leadership battle's lost and won.

Third Witch (Flint)
That will be ere the set of sun.

First Witch (Smith)
Where the place?(Smith)

Second Witch (Blears)
Upon the heath.

Third Witch (Flint)
There to meet with Johnson.

First Witch (Smith)
I come, Graymalkin!

Second Witch (Blears)
Paddock calls.

Third Witch (Flint)
Anon.

ALL
Fair is foul, and foul is fair:
Hover through the fog and filthy air.

Brown must be hopping mad to be undermined by Wee Willie Krankie, Elvira Mistress of the Dark .... (yuk!) and Oliver Hardy.

Failed boobs the lot of 'em - why can't they just fuck off quietly?

It looks likely that we'll have to listen to the err.. umm.. © C.Flint outpourings of these useless items as they try to bring down the big snotty yin cyclops.

It would seem that they're so stupid as to think their situation is recoverable - sigh - has a fantasy about turning the clock back about 250 years....

Hazel Blears is so much shorter than the other two that it looks as though that picture has been Photoshopped even if it hasn't been. But at the risk of getting sociological, what does it say about modern (Internet) culture that we expect to see digital manipulation even when it isn't present?

I'm inclined to see it optimistically, as the kind of scepticism that liberates the individual from all false authorities.

If I may quote Auric Goldfinger, roughly, "Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, the third time, Mr Bond, is enemy action ...". We'll know when the third one goes.
