Why are they never happy?

Yet again I am a little bit under the weather, this morning I woke up to make the lovely journey into Euston only to start retching in the shower and throw up in the sink after getting out. However, having slept for a little while, most the day so far, I feel a little better.

Now, excuse for not rapidly posting stuff aside, I just have one question to ask, which is why are lefties never happy? If people make profit they're evil capitalist, and now I've learned that even if a business decided to make a loss on something it is equally wrong in their eyes.

Veteran Left wing MP, Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a motion you see slating businesses in the food industry for selling below cost. He'll be calling for price controls next, and in the current climate I wouldn't be surprised if there were loons who would agree.

I don't know about broad generalisations of leftie's or rightie's ...

but I do know that the food industry and the supermarkets throw away soooo much decent food that it does make quite upset. Isn't there anything useful that can be done with good food that happens to reach its sell by date? Why throw it away and waste it ?

Don't get it.

New regulations which were brought in essentially meant that you were not allowed to give the food away.

Didn't one of the sandwich chains in London used to give the sanwiches left at the end of the day to a homeless chairty. Cold e wrong but I thought rules were brought in that impinged on that too.

Throwing away food is caused by stocking more than you sold.
No-one can predict what wil be needed by customers. The choice is to over supply and live with the waste, or under supply and leave customers wanting. Capitalists tend to pefer the first option, since it does not want disatissifed customers, socialists prefer the second option because they don't want to see waste.

Yep, Johnathan, absolutely right. A relative of mine is involved with a charity that used to recieve almost more food than they could use from local supermarkets and what not. Now they struggle to get donations from the public. That's the "caring" Labour government for you.

Recycle when it suits you?
It's a crazy world really. Why not give the surplus food to homeless shelters, community centres etc? There are families struggling to make ends meet, surely we can do better than this?

apparently ppl are born lefties and then they grow into ...

well I suppose there is only one way to go. quite interesting from a psychological perspective.

children tend to be unhappy and adults become happier after their mid life crisis.

all points broad brush. or was it made with a broad brush! haha.
