I've just visited Ebay USA and there is a $100 Amazon gift certificate going for $117.50 after seventeen bids. There must be an explanation as there are tens of other Amazon gift cards for sale many having been bid to a premium over their face value.

Anybody got any ideas what this is about?
Maybe the Christmas booze hadn't worn off when they placed their bids!
It just reflects the fact that Amazon Gift Certificates are now a harder currency than the Dollar! Wonder what rate you'd get against the Pound?
