The infestation of the Parliament continues

We all know that parliament is infested with some terrible things, such a piggies with snouts in the trough and greasy pole climbers. Then there are the cloth moths.

Apparently they're out of control and they've been desperately trying to stop the little critters eating away at the carpets and, according to the Facilities department "other items in a number of areas of the Palace".

Given that they like dried skin and hair too I don't really want to speculate or imagine what the other items might be. Nay, the thought online is enough to cause nausea. They reckon that the clean up job will take at least six months, the problem is they've found the moths "elsewhere" now.

"Elsewhere" you say? Gordon's wallet perhaps? Maybe Sarah's knickers? Oops. Did I just type that out loud? I think I may have to go and stand in the corner for lowering the tone. Shame on me. Can anyone think of less gratutious places "elsewhere" might be?

I think that Gordon brown was terrific at PMQ's
today.
He pummeled Cameron over his poor grasp of the
real economic situation.

The Tory Toff leader was weak and ineffective and
failed to land a single blow.
Brown has really got a grip now, and is more than
a match for him.

Clegg was just insipid. A total waste of a
question.

Make no mistake, Labours fortunes are on the rise.

Michael 'Wiggy' Fabricant's implausible thatch? (or don't the critters dine on old polyester?)

Why complain? They are probably the only parasites in the place who lack an expense account...

The largest number of moths in the Palace of Westminster are undoubtedly to be found nestling between the pages of "The Guide to Good Governance and Personal Probity for MPs" - the least read work in the entire Parliamentary library.

I've got these little buggers in my flat and believe me when I say they are hard to get rid of.

Let's hope they don't get established in the "Thetford Forest" !!!
