Can it really be the 25th Anniversary of the biggest selling computer model of all time?
Relive Paperboy at c64.com. Those were the days! When gaming was about gameplay.
Update: Yet again I see Tom Watson and I have something in common. When it's not Iggle Piggle and the Pinky Ponk, its the C64.

Those were the days, tape players endless loading and basic.
The C64 was real progress if you started on an ACER 500.
Real progress indeed - after the
ZX81
Ahhhh, I remember games which took 15 minutes to load and then crashed pretty quickly. I particularly enjoyed the psychedelic flashing as it was about to start. Games in those days had gameplay, like Raid over Moscow, Manic Miner, etc. They weren't all just special effects.
I also remember the feuds between BBC owners and C64 owners about the difference 16k of memory made.
