The
Danger Room blog over on
Wired sums it nicely when it says that
this is "straight from the never-ever-never-gonna-happen department", but hey, a 150 mile sky dive would be a rush wouldn't it if you could handle the 4+G without passing out and the potential of your blood boiling on re-entry.

Home blogging is killing politics
yes but you missed the news of the day.
In The Night Garden toys are on sale on amazon.
Sheesh, you letting Miles astroturf too? You stopped me doing it when I was green.
Anyway. Classic case of falling with style I'd say.
I pull 4 and a half G in a glider a couple of years ago, in a overly sharp escape from a nose-dive.
I heard this tremendous bang, and I'm sure it damn near broke the wings off.
The sensation was absolutely indescribable - a combination of sickness, terror, euphoria, and hard concentration.
My exposure to it must have lasted less than a second but it is still with me vividly. To go through that on a long dive would be absolutely out of this world.
Where do I sign up?
Tom
