Blogger nominated for Political Commentator of the Year

It appears that a certain Mr Iain Dale has been nominated in The House Magazine/ Sky News Parliamnetary Awards as "Political Commentator of the Year" alongside Nick Robinson, Jackie Ashley and Matthew D'Ancona.

Obviously congratulations are order, but what will undoubtedly be more amusing is seeing the reaction of his frothing loony detractors on the Internet. I imagine the blood pressure guages are rising as I type.

Who could you mean...? I doubt it'll mean that much to anyone outside the Westminster bubble but there you go...

Ever see that scene in Scanners when that dude's head blew up?

Well done Iain. Though this will have been nominated before his recent run of blunders I suppose. Froth, froth.

Tony Blair, who wants internet journalism shut down - good luck, Tone; you have no power - will be beside himself that there is even such an award.
