Sounds strange, but PlanetQuest has a lot more details. Basically, astronomers at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory are hoping that that in an upcoming SIM PlanetQuest mission they will be able to detect a planet in the habitable zone around the red dwarf star 40 Eridani A within the triple-star system 40 Eridani.If you're wondering what this has to do with Vulcan, 40 Eridani A is the star around which the planet in Star Trek folklore.
