National Audit Office head's travel expenses audited

Sometimes I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Apparently the head of the National Audit Office, that's the office who's job it is to make sure taxpayers money is spent properly, has raked up travel expenses of over £340,000 in three years with foreign visits. His wife went to at a cost of our £70,000 to the taxpayer. Whilst it is the Daily Mail that is reporting it it's actually Private Eye who obtained the documents.
