Is HIlary Benn about to withdraw?
The rumour mill continues to run about Hilary Benn not having the level of support required to stand for the Deputy Leadership. It's being suggested that he doing so badly he may withdraw tomorrow or possibly Monday before the first deadline. I guess the other five will be pleased if it's true.

It seems quite typical of all three major parliamentary parties to conspire to keep down anyone who might actually be popular with the rest of the country...
Perhaps he's being backed to tackle Gordo instead? Or party to some monstrous betting scam to take Tory money?
