When politicians and IT service providers collide

It seems the Government has just signed a big software deal - or what they call a Memorandum of Understanding - with a company called SAP (Software Application Providers). I had a look at SAP's website and found this gem.
HBS specialises in using its unique customer centric transformation approach to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the services it runs for its customers, whether through complex multi-service relationships or large-scale single service provisions. HBS uses market leading SAP applications to support delivery of redesigned processes, following its best practice approach for rapid implementation.
Got that? Never fear I ran it through the Wonderful Wankometer and it score 11 out of 10 Off the Scale! If a perl script can tell it's nonsense then what chance do we have?

I imagine the politicians love it though, it sounds so dynamic. I wonder if the guy that wrote it was laughing at the time? I would've been.

Oh no, not the government dealing with SAP!!

In the business (the IT business I mean) SAP is known as "Sucks up All your Profits" because of the colossal costs of its software and (especially) its consultants.

God knows what will happen if those guys get their hands on public money.

Actually not just God - I think we can guess. It'll look the NHS IT program look like a vicarage tea-party...
