How interesting, last week, on 18 Doughty Street, the Labour blogger RecessMonkey was very careful about what he said regadring Hilary Benn's forthcoming Deputy Leadership election website which he is involved in.It appears though, as the screenshot to the right shows, that the benn4deputy.org site has gone live. What's more, it carries the legend that it is "Published and promoted by Peter Watt on behalf of Hilary Benn". Is that a formal declaration of support by the General Secretary of the Labour Party?
It does get better though. There is also another "demo site" that Google kindly threw up for me (I bet this disappears soon). I particularly liked what appear to be Vargas girls embedded as the background image. Classy!

Yes it does look a bit like Fawkes. Decoy site you say? Hardly, it's a dmeo of Worpdress software at one of the many benn4deputy domains that Alex has registered. There is a video up there though that is back linked through some viral video networks, hence it was able to be found.
I don't think it;s been left as a decoy, I think its just been left as a mistake which Alex forgot to delete.
As it says over at Recess' profile at political opinions, he is working for an MP. My question is how many MPs is he working for?
Well found! - we were hacking apart a wordpress installation. The high contrast background is very good for testing transparency levels.
And the Hoff? What can I say - he deserves a place on any testbed.
