Is it of German origin? One shudders to think how it was derived, who it was named after and the circumstances surrounding its inception.

Hi Dizzy,

To be fair no one votes for a PM. It was arrogant and wrong for Blair to claim that he was voted in to serve a Prime Minister.

He was voted in as the MP for Sedgefield, if he stands down as PM nothing will have changed. I am looking forward to a Gordon Brown premiership; the country will see why the Labour party didn't choose him the last time.
