Derek Draper's offensive comments towards the mentally handicapped have to stop NOW!

TO EVERYONE ON THE WHOLE WORLD WIDE WEBBY SUPERROADWAY TUBE!

Last week many bloggers and commenters held Derek Draper to account for running a crap website that is making him the laughing stock of teh [sic] interweb.

Sadly Derek Draper has this weekend proved himself to be even more offensive and objectionable.

To the right is a screenshot (click for large version) of comments by Derek Draper that refer to anyone who he disagrees with as a windowlicker, and then a sudden back tracking as he realises how stupid he has been to attack the mentally handicapped.

I have no doubt that sections of the blogosphere will accuse me of picking a fight, or seeking vengeance for Draper's attack on my blogging chums over the past week.

However, I, you, we should not - and cannot - ignore this.

Because this goes beyond personal abuse. It's about these people not being treated unfairly by a psychotherapist who claims to care but when angry starts to insult the mentally handicapped!

This is not about politics anymore, its about decency goddamit it! We mustn't let this go on or the world and society that we have built will collapse under the pressue of these nasty Labour people!

DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!? WE MUST STOP DEREK DRAPER'S ATTACKS ON THE MENTALLY HANDICAPPED TOGETHER!!!!!!

Everyone must stop linking to LabourList NOW!!

Remember this is about these guys below as much as it is about moral righteousness!

  1. Yep the blog wars should stop. I have taken my link to LabourList away.

  2. Recently, I researched the term "window licker" and found that in a poll widow lickers were less offended by the term than mentally disabled, special needs, etc.

  3. ADORE the green ink - well done Sir!

  4. I think you should go easy on Dolly -- he doesn't seem to tweeted or blogged on LL for 48 hours and I'm worried for him.

  5. Widow lickers, JHL? Sounds a bit pervy.

  6. New Labour couldn't have shown just how out of touch they are by funding Draper to set up Labour List. He's that 1980s stupid student union twat that's never grown up. Very sad...

  7. on his blog at http://derekdrapersblog.blogspot.com he is still saying it is worth having a look at http://www.buffthebanana.co.uk/ where today the top link is to http://tinyurl.com/cmpvpp where Peaches Geldof gets her tats out.

  8. I am colour-blind, so the green ink trick was sort of wasted on me. It looked sorta reddish!

Even so, allowing for satire and sop on, what was a registered, practising psychologist doing using such vile terminology as a term of abuse?

I know a child who is a (genuine) window licker. He has some undefined developmental problems.

He is The grandson of a work colleague he came to visit his grandmother and I was somewhat staggered to see the poor little mite standing in the street outside the office licking the window. (Sadly, this is a true story.)

So, Mr Draper, Psychologist, that poor child is the kind of person you are abusing.

And you had the absolute brass neck to call Carol Thatcher and others, racists? You, Mr Draper are a disablist hoon. You certainly shouldn't be a Psychologist, in my opinion.

  9. Similarly right-on lefty Sunny Hundal called me a retard - can we burn him too?

  10. Mr Draper is still in with the Headmaster so it seems.

The racism ranting was one thing but I suspect the widow (sic) licking has sealed his fate.

Assume he took a Yellow Pages with him - a useful tool for such occasions - backside protector with handy numbers for the local Jobcentre.

  11. Doesn't he make a living as some sort of nutter improver? So why does he insult them.

(Personally I reckon we're all bonkers - it's a spectrum. Some of us are just less far along it than others)

And one, I never visit Labourlist as I don't want his traffic to go up and two, this is the first time I've commented for the same reason. Ignore him and he'll go away. It's like your kids having a tantrum, if you ignore them they'll eventually stop it.

  12. Clearly a hissy-fitting twathead, but that's the least of his failings. You mustn't forget the reasons for his original fall from grace: blatant cash-for-influence corruption.

It's incredible the original rotten core of New Labour (Draper, Mandelson, Campbell) are still there, wielding power and influence (perhaps not in Draper's case), despite their naked dishonesty and corruption having been exposed. It's sickening.

  15. hahahaha. Draper you nutter, stick that in your pipe and smoke it. I'm thinking of buying green ink stock in readiness for Draper's (plus thugs) response.

You neglected to mention the balm to cool those hot criss crossed stripes across his arse.

  22. I will stick up for the tramp Dolly and say it is his right to offend, even though he and his party would deny me mine.
Having never licked a window myself I can take his ranting for what it is. A glimpse of the real man inside all that PC shite he attests to believe in. Why don't you all fuck off he says reading between the lines. And you know I feel a little sorry for him, I've been on the net since 93 a seasoned newsgroup junkie. And can say with authority on the subject, it makes me squirm watching their blog initiatives etc
The bizarre world of control and power they inhabit just doesn't work on the Internet where everyone has a voice.

I've been called a everything from a 'ginger paki' to a 'Gay Cunt' online think I can survive his windowlicker jibe and reserve his right to do so.

  23. Hang on a minute. You can't profess to espouse freedom of speech for some, and then not for others.

Let him say it. He merely proves how objectionable he is.

Solomon's advice in the OT Wisdom Literature was quite good. Basically it was along the lines of:

'Don't argue with fools, lest you become like them. Answer fools according to their folly in case they become wise in their own eyes'

(a fool in this context was not as in 'stupid vs clever' but rather one who was 'not quite the whole shilling' in his dealings with God, as expressed in his treatment of his fellow man)

Let him prove himself to be a fool and then let others know why. If you ban him saying it, you never know

And remember, he's not irredeemable either - I'm sure all those clamouring to criticise him would want forgiveness for their gaffs?.

Of course, if you were just being ironic, fine......

  24. Ah! Messagespace, ofcourse, you're a strange bunch. Still if you're happy to be associated with Paul Staines, that's your look out.

  27. Dan, most of the Liebour Party is that 1980's student union twat that never grew up, hence We are where we are.

  28. He needs to get to the root of his mental health problems which I believe stems from a childhood trauma causing repressed pain. This could be from a number of events... Was he weaned too early? Was he told off too many times? Who knows, but by reliving these painful episodes of his childhood and expressing the resultant pain in a safe environment, I feel Draper could start to 'feel' a lot better in himself.

  29. Funny considering Labour's forced political correctness on us for the past 10 years. One rule for one and one for the other? *sigh*

  30. Thanks for posting the pic of the LabourFist comments - saves me having to go to that toilet of a site and improve their traffic :-)
