There was of course lots of comment about the Olympic logo across the press, and, at the same time, there were two motions tabled slating it (see here and here) which were mentioned in the press and diary columns.
What you didn't read about though was the motion praising the logo for challenging "the traditional conservative approach to such design". Unlike the 26 moaning bastards this motion garnered the overwhelming support of errr... two people.. really just one if you discount the person who tabled it.
