The Chomsky Prize

Danny Finkelstein has another of his competitions over here. It's the Chomsky Prize, dedicated to rules of life that we all follow and inspired by Danny's own "Never read a book or watch a film that has been recommended by Noam Chomsky.".

I have submitted mine which is basically that the phrase "it's my round" will always ensure that you don't get your head kicked in during a pub "discussion". Another would have to be, never drink red wine and port during the day, it will end in a messy way.

Any other ideas submit them.

When you hear the expression 'I'm not a racist, but...', prepare to hear some racism. On the other hand, when hearing the expression 'I don't mean to be funny, but...', don't prepare to hear anything funny.

Never ever be spontaneous with women if your intention is romantic. Guile and contrivance are your allies , openness of heart, while commendable will result in catastophic failure.

Never trust a Brownite, harsh but true.

Don't ever think that beautiful women have natures to match. Remember all the poor male spiders who underestimated the female of the species.

The phrase "In a court of law.." will always be followed by clueless speculation arriving at a convenient conclusion .

"Later" means never

"Consultation" means the descision has been made

The pint multiple
" Just a half"= A pint
"Just a quick one" = Two pints
"Just a couple" Three or four
"A few" Stomach pump required.

Nice men don't hit on beautiful women. Sadly.

Anyone (steve richards) who uses the clique if you've got nothing to hide you've got nothing to fear is extremely dodgy , and probably thinks Stalin has had a bad press.
