It's not a potato. It's an egg

I know I said I wouldn't be posting, but this will only take a minute. The UK Daily Pundit mentioned that I have a new potato man logo. He's now the second person to call it a potato (James Cleverly being the first).

It's not a potato, it's an egg. In fact, it's an egg called Dizzy from the series of computer games started in 1986 by Interactive Studios. You can read the history of Dizzy the Egg on Wikipedia here. What on earth were you people doing in the 1980s? Didn't you have C64s, Acorns, Spectrums or Vic 20s?

God you know its Sunday!
Sorry Dizzy, but you may think that "it's an egg called Dizzy from the series of computer games started in 1986 by Interactive Studios."
But to me it looks like a potato and I should know, my kids even had a Mr Potato Head in there toy box and made me watch Toystory so many times I am now an expert on my potatoes!

I don't "think it's an egg", it is a bloody egg whether it looks like a potato or not.

Looks to be a free range egg too, judging from the graphic.

Sehr geEhrter Dizzy

We al hope you soon recover from your 'flu

.... if it waddles and it quacks, either it's a Solicitor or it's a Duck

We hold this Truth to be self-evident, as well as supported by pScientific Observation - Your Logo is self-evidently a Spud - I am fortififed to have the incisive James Cleverly and public opinion on my side

and what is wrong with the humble pSpud, which is currently sustaining so many Tory Voters, without the perils of pSalmonella

Actually it's an ovary, one of a twin. The other is called Dozy.

Exactly, Dizzy, where WERE these people?!?

'Fantasy World' was the first game I ever completed on my speccy 48k, at the age of 10.

BTW, you can use 'Dizzy Adventure Game Engine' to create you own games.

I wasted hours playing Treasure Island Dizzy.

It's a shame that graphics have been used in modern games to patch over poor gameplay.

In the 1980s I was learning to walk and talk rather than to play computer games!

Well I suppose that might explain the boxing gloves?
But it still looks like a Mr Potato Head going on safari!

A potato?! Tosh. It's clearly a testicle.

I knew what you were Dizzy. I owned a Spectrum and a Commodore 64 in the 1980's.

You might want to recreate those heady days of ZX Spectrum gaming. I recommend the "ZX32" emulator [http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Bay/9932/].

.. just don't blame me for the many wasted hours!

Why have you changed your potato?
