How much data per second?

I've just spotted a press release from Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Company in Japan. Apparently they've managed to smash the world record data transfer capacity record by achieving 14Tbps over a 160Km optical fibre. I'm not going to go into the maths, but that's really fast.
