If you fancy a good laugh in the morning, then I strongly recommend reading the reviews of Derek Draper's new book "Life Support" over on Amazon - clearly it's a highly popular book. What I find personally amusing is that Draper has written a self-help book with the following chapter titles.
and...I believe the correct phrase is "Physician heal thyself"

Update: Some more reflections on the book from Jonny Mac

I rather liked this comment.
If Peter Andre were to fall into a coma, awake 5 years later with severe brain damage, I still reckon he could write a better book than this...If I had to use Derek Draper's expertise to support my life then to be honest I'd rather drown.I just hope all those reviewers, if they have indeed read it, borrowed or even better stole the book, rather than give that tosser any money.
As I understand the current state of play, Derek Draper intends to give it a week to see if things improve for himself.
I am reminded that Harold Wilson said that a week in politics is a long time.
Should we have to wait that long to say goodbye?
Spooky. I blogged on Dolly's book yesterday, heading the post 'Physician, heal thyself'. That bit that struck me was from the blurb on the back of the book -
"...the more we understand why we do what we do, the more we can change ourselves for the better and enjoy the fuller, happier lives we deserve...".
Great minds? Added a link to your post
Judging by his interviews after Smeargate, it seems that 'accepting unhappiness' is still a little beyond his grasp.
Bless.
"I believe the correct phrase is "Physician heal thyself""
It would be. If he were a physician. Or a healer.
Keep up the good work, Dizzy.
Glad you liked it Boiling Frog!

Given the fact he removed his computer from his house yesterday (in a multi-coloured goody bag, top work by Daily Mirror photographer), I would have thought the chapter on Techno-Stress would have been more appropriate....
It seems the poor reviews are starting to be reflected in the price, a new copy is now available from £3.92 from marketplace sellers; lower than ever before.
Think I'll wait until I see it in Poundland myself
The end of Draper marks the end of this revolting government.
We need an election now not next year....
There is a continuing effort by people such as Whelan to insinuate that there is some fact behind this terrible inuendo. Their inbred nastiness is still in evidence. So much for Brown's weasley words.
Utter drivel and psychobabble from a Quack.
'clinging to a false reality' - who does that remind you of?

ROFLMAO! He might as well have said "This book is crap, don't believe a word of it!
The book has a spelling error in it's title. Surely it should read Lie Support?
Comes across more like the transcript of his first session with a real psychotherapist.
