An eye for an eye?

People may have noticed that it has been light blogging over the past couple of days. This is because it is currently half term. Apologies. In the mean time here is a rather quaint eye for an eye story from Iran.

You mean you can blog more in the classroom?

Does your Teacher know about this?

Brutal story from Iran. Then again, the christian solution, to turn the other cheek, doesn't seem right either.

I feel I should not agree with this poor girl but I do.

Bet that's one part of Sharia Law they won't want implementing in the UK!

He should be allowed to keep his sight, but should be incarcerated somewhere and made to work for the rest of his life to finacially support the poor victim.
This sort od punishment should be routine world wide...then just watch the crime rate drop.

He deserves acid in his eyes. He intentionally maimed this woman for life! These people treat women like property and less then what I would treat a piece of live stock. Screw Human rights! You will go to prison in the U.S. for violating an animals rights. What about women"s rights in these countries? I don't believe in the death penalty but I do believe in justice and this guy deserves acid in his eyes. I don't think I've ever agreed to any sentence that an Arab country have given out. This one is the exception. I hope he likes the warm burning sensation that he's going to get.

I have noticed more kids than usual about when I take Rocky for his day time walks. My first thought was 'there's a lot of 'em skanking off school these days'. Today, walking past the local kids prison on the way back from the barber's I noticed the school gate chained and padlocked. 'Oh, it must be half-term, then' was my second thought. I am observant. Which one is it this time Easter already?
