Very light on the technical side - I don't think it mentioned packet switching. Also the reliability under nuclear attack is mostly a myth and the reality is more prosaic. The IMP's (roughly the same role as today's routers) were basically minicomputers and relatively unreliable than modern routers, which is why the network was designed to withstand significant outages.
