Malicious narrative on Brown's health (and hair)

I don't care if people think this is part of some sort of malicious conspiracy to start a rumour, as far as this ordinary voter is concerned he really doesn't look healthy. Sod having a personal trainer, he looks rough. In June 2008 he looked healthy, but now? Sorry, that doesn't look good at all, that looks like someone who is ill, not someone who is in shape.

Oh yes, and he's clearly dyed his hair to get rid of the grey on the top.

Imagine doing his job. You see your boast of being the Iron Chancellor rust away in front of your eyes, people who once respected you laugh behind your back and even colleagues disrespect you in public, whether it's Darling, Miliband or Johnson ("he's not a centre court person").

With a reputation as the most disastrous Chancellor since Jim Callaghan, now you look like the most hapless PM - you also won't ever win an election - you'd be feeling ill!

They have gone past the laughing behind his back phase, they now openly laugh in his face. The whole of Westminster openly laughed at Gordon when Vince Cable likened him to Mr Bean, creating chaos out of order.

Feeling pity for him will come next and that will signal the end.

Brown's is the EU. The EU is Brown.
Sod the lot of them.

I feel for him on a human level, it must be heart-breaking to discover that you aren't very good at the job you always coveted. If he is unwell I hope he gets better. But in the meantime I am very concerned that he is not helping the country get through this slippery patch.

Election please.

The only way they will rip GB out of office before an election is because he is too ill to carry on.

He is looking less than well - but then he hasn't had his heart scare like our previous Glorious Leader yet.

Dizzy, I don't think you intend any malice in this post. Our last Glorious Leader also looked distinctly peaky before his (political) assassination. It is possible to love the sinner whilst hating the sin, and anyone who has been forced out of a job they love through ill health must have some compassion for him.
It is the serious damage done to this Country in every aspect of life, political, economic and social, for which he and the rest should be held to account. He has been at the centre of tearing down institutions and leaving nothing in their place. 11 years of Socialism have seen the average Brit. poorer in mind, body and spirit. It is the Enron-style mismanagement of the Country's economy which cannot and should not ever be forgiven.

Blair aged in office over, what, 10 years? But he was still a grinning leprechaun at the end. Brown has aged in a year. Methinks it is a function of failure. He has achived seniority beyond his capabilities. Even for someone so arrogant it must be dawning him that he cannot hack it. On top of which he is essentially deceitful. The danger with that is that you may deceive yourself. As I was once told there are no lies bigger than the ones you tell yourself.

These conflicts will lead to stress and to my eyes he looks thinner and more raddled than a year ago (allowing for selective media imagery).

In some ways it is getting near the point when the public's growing fury over the fiscal disaster of his legacy will be replaced by pity at his patent inadequacy. It won't save him or New Labour - the public may pity, it won't forgive, - but at the end we won't actually call for his head, we'll just watch him go knowing that he knows that he has been absolutely useless. And that will be its own punishment.

If Mr. Brown wants to get his health back he could simply leave the job that is overstretching him, but I don't think it's in his nature to confront the reality of his situation, so unlikely to happen.

Judging by the pic at the top of your blog, you're not in the best of health yourself, Dizzy.

"...as far as this ordinary voter is concerned..."

Er, yeah right. You've written columns for the Telegraph and you campaign for the Tories. Very man on the street.

Now your a sys admin who's giving medical assessments based on photographs.

This isn't a defence of Brown, he's doing a crap job and amlost certainly going to lose the next election, but this sort of stuff is rubbish.

1: Times not Telegraph and it's two on IT.
2: Last time I did anything for the Tories was a local election on local issues. That is quite man on the street actually.
3: I was sysadmin before I ever got involved ion politics.
4: It's not rubbish, I lead an entirely ordinary life. I get up at 6am, get the tube to work, go home on the tube, and then do the odd salsa glass if I am not sitting in watching the telly.

Especially s you have previously described yourself as a "paper candidate" in that election.

He's quite vain, isn't he?

He's had corrective oral surgery, now he's dying his hair.

A look on my stats a while ago about last year showed ITN searching for "Gordon Brown Parkinsons"... the shakiness could be a hint?

Also Gordon is putting a bit of colour in his hair to try and make him look younger. Where as Miliband and Purnell are allowing their hair to go grey to probably make them look older and more "mature".

Well I was in effect apaper candidate because I had zero chance of winning. I agreed to make the numbers up and then delievred shedloads of leaflets to see what impact it might have.

Perhaps he looks worse because he has dyed his hair - he should have left it well alone - It does not enhance his looks, dark haired people are most often mistaken when they think it makes them look better to go darker again.
I am speaking as a tad, nay a lot overweight, going grey, starting to wrinkle granny - my weight I shall work on, my wrinkles I can help some with lotions, my hair? I shall leave alone....
I am no fan of Brown btw.

Good. If he looks like crap he can take the 'dignified' long walk saying it's due to "ill health". As opposed to being dragged out kicking and screaming before being hung drawn and quartered.

Oh and the third picture - massive heed!

How can so large a head be so empty.

His hair was grey yesterday Dizzy

Sorry for him? This arrogant, vain bastard has spent 11 years trying to destroy Britain. I despise the cult of Brown that New Labour have created as well as the lies the New Labour project has been built on.

This man is an enemy of the people and the sooner he pisses off into oblivion, whatever colour his hair is, the better.

Anonymous said...

So he's had his teeth done, his hair is being dyed, his physique is being 'worked-on', but who is tending to the tortured soul beneath?

He's going mad I tells ya, mad I say, d'ya hear me??

Basically this weirdos problem is that the great unwashed british public isn't as stoopid as he assumed they are.
Ok the proles he ties up in knots in tax credits are dim, but the people who actually contribute to the economy, the workers, the grafters, simply think this wretch is ghastly.

I think that before he goes to the guillotine he should stand in the dock with his old "friend" Toady B Liar and they should be tried for treason and stripped of all their ill gotten wealth.
Fifi Mandelson should also be alongside them.

Anonymous said...

Seems to me he looks drawn. He's also lost a fair bit of weight by the looks of him.

Anonymous said...

So he might be ill. Nothing too trivial I hope.

The headline over at Guidos is 'Is Gordon Dying His Hair'? I got as far as the 3rd word & my heart jumped for joy - then I read the final two words!
I think you folks here are much nicer than I am. I USED to feel sorry for him but seeing what he has done to the UK economy, how he has set up a police state in our once green & pleasant land & how he has sold us out to the EU - he deserves everything he gets - in spades. And the worse it gets for him, the more I shall laugh.

I heard from a well placed civil servant (friend of a friend kind of thing)that Broon is seriously unwell some kind of digestive problem, no mention of the big c though. Everyone keeping it hush hush so as not to start the whole rumour mill.

Don't know much about him, but so far Gordon Brown strikes me as the first decent person you've had as Prime Minister in my lifetime - 37 years.

Way to go Gordon.
