Somehow or other I managed to miss Headcases last week on ITV, and this week I am working tonight so will miss it again. Thanks to the wonders of YouTube I did get to watch a little bit just now though.
Not as funny as I hoped, but it got a wry smile at least.

You didn’t miss much. I thought it was disappointing last week. The odd wry smile just about sums it up. I had hoped for the sort of wit and cutting insights Spitting Image delivered, but if Headcases continues with mediocre sketches like that, it’ll be doomed.
Even more disappointing this week, Dizzy. The celebrity bits always seem too elongated, and the poltical bits are samey. This week it was that the Tories are posh, just like it was last week. In fact, I found it rather annoying that despite Brown's latest month of cock-ups, the Tory skit was by far the longest this week.
wot, no video recorder??? I thought the animations were not as spot on as the spitting images were, and the writing is of pretty poor quality. There isn't much in the way of sharp political satire (though I like Darling bouncing around squealing Doom). It seems tv only does barbed political satire when the Tories are in power.
Pretty piss poor. Is their depiction of Brown the first time a satire has flattered one of its targets? Too many weak attempts at policy jokes, when caricature of personality was the way to go.

top marks for Robert Mugabe as a Somerset "oooh arrrr" farmer. and for the grand piano on Piers Morgans head.
rather low marks for the bleeding obvious of Cameron as a secret toff with Osborne as his schoolboy fag.
oh wow - funny- Tories are "toffs". Wooowww man.. thats funny. (sarcasm...)

Looked forward to it but missed the first episode.
It is no Spitting Image, for one thing it is not funny.

Deeply unfunny. Why not use the writers from (for instance) the Now Show?
