The Sun's April Fool's Day gag and other papers

I suppose it is only to be expected that the Sun would have a good old fashioned "loony EU" story for its April Fool's Day gag. Apparently the EU is going to metricate time "Britain will move to a system with 10 hours in a day and 100 units in an hour – doing away with the time old minute completely."

Good one guys. what I'm trying to figure out is whether the made-up EU planner 'Souo Mestre' is meant to be an anagram of 'Somerset' or if it was a random fluke? Should anyone spot the other made-up stories in the papers do post in the comments.

Update: The Telegraph reports "The BBC will today screen remarkable footage of penguins flying as part of its new natural history series, Miracles of Evolution." Complete with pretty photoshop! Quality!

Update II: BBC Breakfast is now showing some flashy CGI. The Miracles of Computer Evolution!

Not a photoshop, they actually just showed a clip of it on BBC breakfast and said David Attenborough is coming into the studio later to discuss.

Oh, and "Sou O Mestre" is Portugese for "I am the Master".

Or Cameron's Conservative All Stars

Or
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, being appointed to Gordos government of all talents as Fashion Minister.

But the Tel has an editorial about the penguins today - as if they didn't see it for what it was.
