Kate Hoey to join Team Boris

Have just receioved a press release stating that Kate Hoey has agreed to be in Boris Johnson's administration as a non-executive Director advising Boris on sport and the Olympics. That's an impressive catch by Boris to get her on side.

Its also a bold move on her part - without knowing who is going to win the election.

She must be looking at near certain de selection. You would have to put money on her crossing the floor of the house soon...

MIAS - she has no love for Livingstone, she effectively accused him of corruption recently.

Any news on Frank Field? :¬)

Kate Hoey is one of the few Labour Parliamentarians that I have a great deal of respect for.
I sincerely hope she does 'cross the floor', she'd be a great asset on the Front Bench of the Conservative Party.

I think she'd lose some credibility if she formally joined the Conservatives. She's independent and should sit as an Independent. However, the Tories should agree not to stand against her if she puts up as an Independent at the General election.

Frank Field was apparently in hospital last week.

Kate Hoey is an awful self-serving personage. Her true home would be with the DUP or even UKIP.

Boris would be best advised not to touch with a bargepole - she's bad news and certainly wouldn't be missed by the PLP.

When will you learn that most press releases are mainly bollocks?

Channel 4 News says Kate Hoey says she will just be an unpaid adviser and is not crossing the floor.
