From now on you must call me Loretta?

Mark Pritchard: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many gender reassignment operations were carried out by NHS trusts between January 2007 and January 2008; and at what cost.
Is there something you want to tell us Mark? It's OK, you're amongst friends!

Good question for him to ask. The numbers should be higher and I am sure he is keen to improve standards and end the post code lottery. Surely, he wouldn't be one of the low life scum that thinks reconstructive surgery is a 'lifestyle choice'?

Might also have asked how many sex change ops were given to criminals while in prison.

John Pilley was sent down for life for kidnap and attempted murder 10 years ago. While in prison he demanded, and received, a sex change op at a cost of £15,000.

He has now decided that he wants to be a man again so he's on the waiting list for £20,000 worth of female to male surgery.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, pensioners are left to go blind for want of £4,000 worth of macugen.
