New Hampshire Thought for the Day

The question today is not "Is America ready for a female President?" it's "Is America ready to let two families execute political sovereignty for over 20 years?"
Two households, both alike in politics,
In fair DC, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where political blood makes political hands unclean.
Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Clinton(?)

Spot on and well put. Nice to have some realism after reading Nick Robinson's crap on his blog this morning.

Then I wouldn't like to be Chelsea's boyfriend

Of course, if the assassins bullets hadn't done their job it could have been 3 families dominating from the 1960's onwards. Perhaps our US cousins are really just pining for their own royal family.

Fair point also.

Maybe line up Jeb Bush after Hillary Clinton as well?

I can't wait for the young blair and brown's to take over in 20 years time here.

Won't it be fantastic?

Too early in the morning for me, I think. I kept seeing 'Clinton' and 'Bush', and didn't immediately get the point.

And they say Royalty is dying.

And then what? Have Chelsea after?

I am no fan of any of the Clintons, but Bill would have walked it in 2000 had there not been term limits.

Imagine the scene, a banquet in Washington - Chelsea clasps Jeb's hand and says "my only love sprung from my only hate, too early seen unknown and known too late".

Hollywood could get straight on it as they wouldn't even need a screen writer.
