This morning, Guido has
noted how Opinion Leader Research wins a significant amount of Government contracts. The other winners of Government contracts also include Geronimo Communications, who, as I've
posted about before, have a former Labour insider as a director. Since 1999 Geronimo has won contracts from the Department of Education alone to the tune of £9,481,472.

I think they forgot the "competitive" element of the tendering process.
So which director is the new labour insider? I can't find any reference to a link in their annual report (natch).

Well, it's obvious innit? We keep on hearing about how good these Injuns are at IT so stands to reason, dunnit? :-)
This is related to Tribal? Who seem to be an extremely effective full service advertising agency specialising in recruitment and the public sector in particular? And the majority of whose billings are to pay for media and other costs on behalf of their various clients?
So, over nine years they've billed over nine million pounds. One million a year. Of which say 80% is cost of media? Is that the story?
Meanwhile Saatchis and others with links to the Tory Party have also received a large volume of public sector contracts. Haven't they?
Where's the beef?
Various clients for the Tribal group include, you'll be pleased to know, loads of Tory-run authorities round the place. They are a highly effective advertising agency and this is as much of a non-story as the one you're not running about Saatchi also getting loads of contracts.
Who said it was a "story"? This is a just a post on my blog stating a fact. This company does very well out of Government contracts and it is well connected with the Party running the Government. What people decide from those two facts is entirely up to them.
In Manchester we have Ask Developments which Mick Hucknall has a share of. Ask have donated £5k to the Labour Party and Hucknall has reportedly donated well over £80k within the past three years, however I can't find this on the Electoral Commission Donors website. Ask Developments win a high amount of contracts from Tameside Council and Labour run councils in Greater Manchester including the controversial super casino bid, but no one bats an eyelid into Hucknall's donations and his 17% share of Ask Developments. Ask is also in favour of the Manchester Congestion Charge - Like all the greedy property developers rubbing up to Labour policy not to offend them so that they get snubbed for contracts in future.
Back on topic, Geronimo haven't made any donations according to the Electoral Commission's website. It maybe worth having a look into their directors and seeing what political links they have and see if they have made any donations to political parties themselves.
