Well David Cameron has just down Parkinson. He'd already done Jonathan Ross and now he sits with probably the best interviewer ever in my opinion. MIchael Parkinson has a skill at asking questions that can seem soft but actually can probe quite deeply and bring things out of guests that nobody expected.
The audience seemed to like the Kate Moss, plumber, drainage anecdote which was trailed in this morning Times. However what got me wondering more was when Cameron said that the media have been going through his bins. Does this mean Benji the Binman has been re-employed to target Chez Cameron in Notting Hill?
I wonder which media outlets have gone rummaging through the used nappies? There was an amsuing moment in the interview when Parkinson noted that Cameron clearly doesn;t like Gordon Brown. The other guest was Lewis Hamilton, and Parky noted that Brown was "your Alonso" to Cameron. Cameron;s comeback was "it hasn't got that bad yet".
Cameron was followed by Rory Bremner, which is a pretty ballsy thing to agree to do considering Bremner took the piss out of the whole lot of them. Apparently Gordon Brown asked Bremner to write jokes for him once, Bremner uses Brown for joke now apparently.
