Is it any wonder that people hate traffic wardens so much when they do something like this? I mean, seriously, ticketing an entire funeral cortege whilst they loaded the coffin and wreaths? Jesus wept.
Wouldn't trust the Sun that much, it would be of no surprise that the Sun paid the Warden a neat sum for him to do what he did while they snapped it up.
Well yes actually I do. Considering the source of the story was the Croydon Guardian last Monday. Why don;t you ring the Funeral Director and ask for the copies of the photos he took. For fuck's sake maybe?
Diz, I think you've slightly missed the point here.. There is no point shooting the traffic 'warden' [he is not really a traffic warden, is he?] because he has absolutely no say or discretion these days in these matters.
He has probably been hired on a zero hours contract and told he doesn't need to bother turning up for work the following day if he isn't willing to be totally ruthless in achieving his quota of parking tickets.
I used to work in a head office where such targets were set for bank branches and their lending.
The poor saps in the branches had no chance to vary the targets, or even have any input into what they should be.
There are some fuckers higher up in the food chain that need shooting, even though they would have total 'deniability' that this sort of behaviour would result from the numbers they are firing down the line at poor sods like this...
Hes right, there are other people higher in the food chain who demand such high number of tickets from the poor buggers who have no choice but to be in this job. however there are also some traffic wardens who absolutely love what they are doing and dont need to be pushed to bring in the tickets. i no this because i used to be traffic warden and got sacked because i didnt bring in enough tickets. so when your out there please be a little more sensitive towards the the traffic wardens not all of them are that bad. once you get talking to them you'll know which ones are the nice ones

This sort of behaviour is actually a common law offence of 'Committing an act outraging public decency' and is currently indictable.
These buggers should be prosecuted.

Do you really think this actually happened? For f*&k's sake.

Someone else subject to "target achieving" no doubt!
