Harman: Lies and contradiction

Interesting, Harriet Harman has just told the Labour Conference that the Conservative Party only has one non-white representative in the "whole of the Parliamentary Tory Party". Clearly she can't count as I can think of four off the top of my head, Adam Afriyie MP, Lord Sheikh, Lord Bagri and Sayeeda Warsi. Added to this, she also said that being Labour means that you "hate intolerance". Intolerance of intolerance... hmmmm.

This is ridiculous. Political parties aren't judged on their greatness and effectiveness by how many non-indigenes are in Parliament! The voters don't want this garbage. They want effective people, not token representatives of races or sexual persuasions.

Parties are judged on their promises and how well (and if) they deliver them. Squidgy fat Harriet Harman's party will be judged on its failures, not how many "ethnic minorities" (to use an outdated American term from the '70s) they feature.
