BBC TV journalist has Naughtie moment?
The following video from the Labour Conference by the BBC has been posted on YouTube because the person being interviewed in it called Margaret Thatcher a "bitch". Personally I thought the words of the interviewer at the end were more interesting.
"Agreement on an issue, housing, something that is certainly coming through on the focus groups, something Gordon Brown is promising to do and the more we can do... the more we can hear on that the better."

The boy obviously knows how to get on in the BBC. Interestingly had a Tory delegate called a Labour woman a bitch the brown stuff would have hit the fan big time. "same old Tories blah blah blah"
So, presumably dizzy thinks the government (of whatever persuasion) should do less on housing. Terrific. Let's hope we get that message next week.
Also, 'bitch' is much too kind.
Nice one Dizzy. You caught the bugger bang to rights and I'll be reminding him about it on a regular basis.

What a pathetic straw man that deliberately misses the point.Good for you Bob.
I am not sure the public likes all the power politicking, the arrogance, over-confidence and the slagging off of opponents.
Brown's machine politics is a little scary to most people.
The use of threat, fear and occasional abuse to move people is Brown's game, where Blair used charm and persuasion (and the occasional whopper).
All Labour's strong characters like Clark, Reid are out, as Brown cannot cope with anyone who might threaten him so he surround himself with minnows who do his bidding.
That's why Brown's in a hurry to get to the voters before they realise he's a lemon.
