Another week another University Challenge mistake

A couple of weeks ago University Challenge and Jeremy Paxman were faced with ridicule after Warwick Castle and Arundel Castle were mistaken for each other. The following week a question said that David Bowie's Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars was released in 1973 when it was actually 1972, and tonight they made yet another mistake.

In a question about stately homes where the answer was the Prime Minister's official weekend residence, Chequers, they said it was in Princes Risborough. Surely everyone knows - especially if they grew up there - that Chequers has a postal address in Butlers Cross, not bloody Princes Risborough?

It's an outrageous mistake! Do you hear me? Outrageous!*

I knew it, Bloody Warwick Castle my arse.

Ignorance I can cope with, knowing something and being wrong I leave to the AGW faithful.

I thought Paxo said "near Princes Risborough" Anyway, I got it right and I was born and bred in Middlesex. Can you remember where that was?

Hmm I heard "in".

Curlyspikes... they should ask a question about Gravity Hill. It's all Aston Clinton is famous for... ok and the fact that Lionel Martin took the name of Aston Hill, stuck it in front on his surname and started making cars.

I thought Aston Clinton was also 'transcentral' of KLF fame - being from the area.....

Another mistake: If x squared is 64, what is 1/x in decimal form?

The contestant answered 0.125. This is not fully correct. As we all know, the square roots of 64 are 8 or -8.

Therefore the correct answer should have been 0.125 or -0.125.
