Yes really, the Police and the City Council have used some powers to tackle little shits causing problems simply because they're jealous that they are out enjoying themselves on skateboards. Apparently "youngsters are being picked on by grown ups" and he errrr..... "enjoys watching them" playing on their skateboards.
Seriously though, the interview is excruciating in one of those "down wid da kidz in da hood" kind of way - why do politicians do it? Perhaps we'll see a new Lib Dem policy soon about skateboarding facilities?

The Lib-Dems must be compensating for the indignity of being led by Methuselah Ming ? Kind of a mid-life crisis?
Whilst the Libdem comments are a bit 'down with the kids' the dispersal order is proving very controversial here in Bristol.
The order covers a unusually large are for a dispersal order, but not the problem areas – just outside all main city council offices and park all the public sector workers have their fags and lunch in.
No evidence was presented of any ‘persistent harassment and distress to the public’ ; in fact the area has a lower disorder and incident rate of any of city centre.
Many residents are wondering why with prostitutes, drug dealers, vandals and muggers on public display on many of the citys residential areas resources have been used on this non-problem.
The order was granted by the city council on delegated powers (in never saw an elected representative) in response to the police asbo team request – made in response to a request by…the city council.
Remember that a dispersal order covers any group of more than two people. In effect it bans all protest outside the council offices, at the whim of an undereducated, underworked community support officer instead of the courts.
Please dizzy, think and check the facts before supporting such anti democratic and draconian labour power grab
A bit excruciating, but dispersal orders are pathetic and authoritarian, an admission of faiure.
"He was a skater boy,she said see ya later boy
he wasn't good enough for her
now he's a super star
slamin' on his guitar
does your pretty face see what he's worth?"
Who could ever have imagined that Avril Lavigne would have had such a political influence on the Lib Dems?
Those Libs are so hip aren't they? They do realise that Cameron never actually said that people should Hug a hoodie don't they?
This geezer - ain't he a PPC? - is surely missing a trick ain't he, well sin't he? Last time I looked the Lib Dems were running the council in Bristol. Very badly. But nonetheless he might say it is his twatty colleagues that are doing this twatty old green eyes thang.
