It's pretty outrageous news huh? So outrageous to Unity in fact that he couldn't be arsed to write one of his essays two days ago demanding they be expelled from the Labour Party because they're all such dodgy bastards. The fluidity of moral indignation coupled with political expedience is always amusing to observe. So to is the rich irony that the title of his post makes reference to spin.
Update: Quite a funny follow-up from Unity here which I think is his way of admitting that I'm right.

We've known on our side from before the selection that Singh was going to take his ball home if he didn't get his own way.
The only thing we couldn't be sure of was whether any of the other parties would be dumb enough to go blundering into his sectarian cesspit for a bit of cheap political gain.
You're welcome to him.
All very interesting, except it has bugger all to do with the point I was making - which I note you have ignored. This doesn't surprise me of course, but as I said, the fluidity of moral indignation coupled with political expedience is always amusing to observe. After all, these people have been involved in the Labour Party for donkey years and yet it is not until they leave that you're suddenly going to have a Damascene conversion about what morally questionable people they are?
What a load of transparent bullshit. How about being honest. You've gone after him because he quit. Had he not quit you would not have posted about him and would simply have carried on ignoring the links you accuse him of having. I'm not making a party political point here. I'm making an intellectual one about the bullshit motivation behind your latest essay. Trying to paint it as a "you're welcome to him" doesn't negate the fact that if what you say is true you've been happy to break bread with him for years whilst he's been your bastard. It makes the moral indigation you display risible.
Basically mate, I'm calling you a hypocritical tithead.
Clearly when he was our rabble rising idiot we kept it to ourselves. Though also clearly had LP succumbed to threats and picked the man then Mr Shapps would have had him knifed from all sides at the drop of a hat. Now he supervises their warm welcome into Tory ranks. A week ago most of them were (rightly) called muppets by Tories. Now they are the bee's knees.
Plenty of hypocrisy and senanigans to go round in Ealing Southall it seems.
Chris Paul in 'even handed comment' shocker. Are you sure that you are your usual self today?
And, what about the Tory thieving bastard stealing from peoples letter boxes? So much for the party of law and order...
*yawn* that happens across the board and I hardly think you of all people should be pontifcating about the morality of teft when you've admitted to stealing on your own blog.
I think at this point the drill is too I advise you to fuck off.
Chris, in a rare moement, we actually agree on something.
The Tory Party cannot preach to me about morals when they are short of them themselves. As I have paid the hard coin of the realm, I am in a good position to judge and claim the high moral ground. Cash for honours happened across the board, that doesn't make it right. I only take advise from those who are better thinkers than myself. Just because it says Dizzy Thinks on the label, it doesn't do what it says on the tin.
Oh how very droll. Fuck off before I post your email address on alt.flame.
Just thought I would give you the heads up I have written a somewhat critical post about this article - hopefully won't get the same treatment as the last guy! I want to raise some important issues about the UK political system...

Hirst gets it in kind to be honest Alan
