Apparently there is a significant security alert outside Hammersmith station. It may just turn out to be a little kids school bag that he forget and left outside Starbucks. But the number of police cars and sirens that have just screeched past my office was pretty high. I see also that Glasgow has had another controlled explosion of a car this morning, along with an arrest in Australia of all places.
UPDATE: Barons Court and Hammersmith Station has now been evacuated and the A4 has been roadblocked.
Update: Sky reporting controlled explosions outside the station. BBC says it was three fire extinguisers left out on the pavement.
