Beryl and XGL server which I have just installed. Email me if something interesting happens and you might be able to drag me away from it. Read it and weep, Vista/OSX boys!
Let me get my head around this: Beryl is open source desktop, running over (in?) XGL server OS? So, can Beryl operate over (in?) Linux, XP, Vista, OSX? Plus, you need (or need just for faster or smoother running?) a video card with "glx" capabilities? 'cuse my ignorance. But until a few years ago I typed letters in a spreadsheet cos I couldn't be sure that my computer han't crashed when I opened wordperfect for dos. I know, I know. Leave me alone. At least I have a computer.

Can it talk to my iPod?
I quite like Vista although I'm not what you might call a "power user".
well, i'm off to bed.
Ooooh, lots of unnecessary eye-candy taking up processing power! Woo!

Errr, it's using the graphics card's glx capabilities and memory, not the processing power of the main boards cpu.
