This said, I did read the Leader in this morning's Times. The reason was because the headline caught my eye. For there it was, blazoned across the top of the column, "Second Opinion: Hazel Blears is the principled choice for the Labour deputy leadership". The column is ringing wholehearted endorsement for Blears as first choice and Johnson as second,
"The principled choice is not Mr Johnson but Hazel Blears, the Labour Party chairman. She has been consistent and candid in the course of the past few weeks and has defended the Prime Minister on matters where the Labour Party is, mistakenly, too suspicious of him.... The principled candidate deserves our support over the pack of panderers."I imagine some will not be surprised as they consider the Times a Blairite paper anyway, but seriously.... the Chipmunk? OK, I support her on the basis that it would be quite funny if she won, but are there really people out there that take her seriously?

She's the only one talking Blairite fashion, isn't she?
You asked " ..but are there really people out there that take her seriously?"
No.
I would love to give her a good 'endorsing'!!
If you have a look at the Labour youtube sites for all the candidates the Peter Hain is achieving a miserable 629 views of his video compared to all the others on well over 1,000! Poor Hain, so useless people aren't even willing to listen to what he has to say.
Perhaps the Times are playing a longer game here. Maybe they will file in behind DC in 2009 having previously helped provide Sauron with such a wonderful little assistant.

Schocking - Ladies, Children & Junior Eagles read this Blog !!!
Is it proper to expose them to blatant specie-ism
Why shouldn't there be positive discrimination in favour of this kind of Rodent becoming the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, especially as she's a LADY Chipmunk
