I was once a member of the Liberal Democrats. There, I said it, it's like going to AA and finally admitting something that's been weighing you down. I have another admission, I voted Tory when I was a member of the Lib Dems.
Why did I do it you may ask? Well there were a couple of reasons. Firstly I was a student and totally wasted when the forms were put in front of me. The evil Libs waved a very cheap credit card from the Co-Op bank under my nose and I saw something that had more than just monetary uses and they were talking all "localist" which appealed to me somewhat.
Secondly I, quite bizarrely, actually believed it might be a good way of swaying the person marking my work as they were a Lib Dem too. Sadly he was totally incorruptable, unlike I, who was in love with Mary Jane (no not Kirsten Dunst).
There are many lessons here. First, drugs make you do stupid things. Second, drugs make you think that the stupid things you are doing are actually strokes of genius.

The Lib Dems are like gay sex, everyone thinks about it at least once.
I think about Gay Sex a lot. Just not with men.
