Clearly I have a warped sense of humour sometimes, but I couldn't help laughing to myself when I learned that the Government's Debt Management Office website costs £92,000 to maintain in 2006-07 whilst only receiving 49,645 unique visits. Admittedly it's an extrapolated joke, but that means on a "cost/traffic" calculation in pounds it running in the red, as it costs almost double to maintain the pound cost to maintain than the traffic (£1.85 per visit). Perhaps they should ring themselves for advice on how to solve the problem?
Made me laugh anyway.

Tax payers money don't count as expenditure to this administration.
I actually use that site for Information on Gilts. It's one of the few that do make sense. £92,000 is a bit steep though!
