The Wikipedians are increasingly disappearing up their own bottoms. What on earth gives them the right to decide whether someone is "notable" or not? The whole point of a Wiki is that anyone can edit it. If Alex Hilton or any other blogger wants to make an arse of themselves by composing a self-referential entry on Wikipedia, they should have every right to do so.
