Civil liberties is a 'middle class issue' says Blears

Amazing what you find in Deputy Leadership policy documents isn't it? Take for example this little gem from the little chipmunk.
Middle class issues such as climate change, civil liberties and international aid are not election-deciding issues for the swing voters
There's absolutely nothing "middle class" about civil liberties, although at least I now know why Blears supports the crappy authoritarianism coming from the Government she's in. Glad to see she's on board with her parties other chest beating policy areas though. It's all about the class war don't you know!

It pains me to say it, but /overall/ Purple Haze has spoken a great deal more sense than the other five contenders.

I hope she wins the deputy leader race. At least she won't be any where near a position of actual power. Now we now why so many in Labour are happy to let the party sleep walk us into an authoritarian state
