Sadly true (or with some truth anyway) ... but I still love my macs and avoid using my PCs.
If you bought a Mac in the last year it is a PC. They stopped using RISC and went over to x86 overa year ago.
Hence you can install Windows, Linux, BeOS whatever on a Mac. And you can install OSX on a out of the box branded Dell if you really want to.
Sadly not upgraded for a while ...
But then Chris when you have an operating system as sweet and as secure as Mac OS X.Why bother upgrading for the sake of trying to con punters into thinking you have actually improved things?Vista is like NuLabor full of spin!
My wife loves Vista, it organised all her pictures for her.Me I stick to Ubuntu.
